Show play/stop icons on the pattern editor

Would be cool to allow for a method of playing/pausing on the pattern editor without having to resort to pressing start/sel. These should be the same size and positions as the play/stop buttons on the bottom screen, but since that would overlap with a channel if there are enough, perhaps they could be resized a little bit

Yes I would love this.

Here's a slightly old mockup showing the overlapping problem.

I wouldn't feel good about making play/pause smaller tbh, so not sure how to solve this.

I think the fade feature is less important than this one, and it wouldn't really matter if faded top labels (6 m s) got replaced by this.

Looking at it a bit more, I guess shrinking the play/pause down could be acceptable.

they could be made taller..maybe..to match the height of the screen swap button?
