Hi ,

We are testing the DMA AFU example design. Below are the details of our test setup:

Test Environment

  • OS: Ubuntu 22.04.5
  • Linux DFL kernel version: 5.15.92-dfl
  • Platform: N6000 PL
  • PCIe bifurcation: x8 x8
  • OFS prebuilt binaries: n6001-images_ofs-2024-2-1
  • Quartus version: 2024.1
  • Hugepages Configuration
   Node Pages Size Total
   0 2048 2MB 4GB
   0 4 1GB 4GB

The software test log is attached as "OFS_2024-2-1_DMA_AFU_sw.log" for your reference.

Issues Observed

  • “Minimum bandwidth requirement not met” when the transfer size is set to 16 KB
  • The application runs indefinitely when the transfer size is set to 2 MB

Could you kindly clarify the root cause of this issue and advise on the resolution steps
