No audio/cat when using dwc2 USB driver and Yaesu991

Really odd combination of factor results in no audio (in or out), and sporadic cat control.

Audio devices appear, but nothing on waterfall, no volume.

Transmit audio is not present either.

Hamlib cat control works once, transmits silence, then doesn't work until restart.

I know this is obscure, but the newer USB driver for the older Pi's doesn't work, people are forced to use
the older dwc2 driver to prevent complete lockups. (applies to 3A+, Zero2W, works fine on Pi4/Pi5 with
either USB driver)

Either USB driver works great on an ic705, by contrast. Isolated to Yaesu 991 at this point.

All other ham apps work fine with either driver, wsjtx, js8, fldigi, direwolf. it's just qsstv

qsstv version that comes with Raspbian Bookworm.
