Error when closing connection

When calling the method close on the connection (instance of SimpleFlutterReverb), the following error/exception is thrown:

Exception: Invalid argument(s): Invalid argument: 1001, close code must be 1000 or in the range 3000-4999

Any update on this? I have the same issue.....
