Is project abandoned?

Hi,
I've been looking for a C based compiler and i found One Language in github's trending section but it seems project is abandoned because most of the commits are related to 2 or 3 years ago. I'm also another fan of making programming language and recently I've been trying to make a similar programming language with LLVM & Rust but i failed. Rust's unsafe wasn't comfortable with me ^-^. And i'm migrating to C now.
I thought if One Language is ready to be develop, why to make a new language? i can contribute here to enhance my knowledge about compilers.

But it really makes me upset if project is really abandoned.
