[Fix Request] The Desert Signal

**Outline (≤300 words):**
A stranded pilot in the desert sends a flare, but no one comes. She decides to trek to an abandoned relay tower, encountering mirages and mechanical drones. At the tower, she signals again but is attacked before help can arrive.

**Intended genre/tone:**
Survival thriller / sci-fi

Ending feels disconnected from the start.
