GSoC 2026: Introduction & Project Interest

Hello MSS Community,

I'm AYUSH SINGH BAIS (@ayushsinghbais29-svg on GitHub), a Python developer
interested in contributing to Mission Support System for Google Summer
of Code 2026.

I've recently:

• ✅ Set up the MSS development environment
• ✅ Completed the tutorials
• ✅ Explored the MSUI, MSWMS, and MSColab components
• ✅ Reviewed the multilayer support and testing documentation

I'm particularly interested in [specific area: UI improvements /
Collaboration features / Testing / etc.] and would like to understand:

1. What are the priority areas for GSoC 2026?
2. Are there any pre-defined project ideas available?
3. What features or improvements would be most valuable to the community?
4. How can I best contribute and work with mentors?

I'm eager to get started and would appreciate guidance on the next steps.
