OC 8.4 Leash pulls from cages

So this is third hand, but the person I heard it from refuses to post it, so I can only go off of what they told me.

Sounds like the leash update that TPs a sub when stuck on a wall has a flaw no one thought to test (I know I didn't). It can be used to pull a sub out of a cage. I couldn't get many details, but sounds like the leash would "bunny hop" (in their words) the sub out of the cage.

If true, that might be worth a look as that would not be good for a few reasons. As I said, it's a very specific instance that I certainly didn't think to try after hearing about the new system, and I'm posting this third hand. But might be worth a test even so.

So the leash tp should at least not happen when seated. Inside a cage but not seated, that would be hard to detect.

Which may make for a difficult choice. Could be a feature we/doms have to do without because the trade offs are too annoying, or they'll just have to remember to unleash before caging, which is not a cure all either for public collars.

So here's an idea. Yank already force unsits. Why not have Yank teleport if there's no line of sight or no movement?

Also I'm experimenting a bit with my own leash/collar implementation. Something that seems to work is: whenever we lose line of sight, just record locations in a list, until line of sight is restored:

This seems much more robust when turning around corners, etc. (I still have to add some code to ensure that gTargets is correctly emptied when we reach points along the traced path but not too fast.)

Wouldn't that make the noted issue worse? Create more instances where if in a cage and leashed, the sub will be yanked out of it.
