I am missing the optimizer IPOPT

Hello everyone,
i just started working with Aviary and i have a small issue, i don't seem to have the optimizer IPOPT but i have SLSQP despite following every step, i created the environment and installed pyoptsparse, the only thing that is different is that i installed pyoptsparse from conda-forge and not from the conda repository. Is it the reason why i don't have IPOPT?

Hey there,
Can you provide a little more detail on which steps you followed? The Quick Start Guide, Developer Guide, etc.? And how did you notice IPOPT was missing? Did you get an error, was missing from the output of aviary check, or something else?

We use conda-forge in the dev team so that's probably not the issue, as far as I know the pyoptsparse package from either conda-forge or official anaconda servers should come bundled with IPOPT.

Very late reply, but I finally figured out what the problem is. It is simply something wrong with the latest pyoptsparse package on conda. I found that installing an older version of pyoptsparse should work. I tried 2.13 from conda-forge on a fresh conda environment (on linux) and was able to get IPOPT working, but 2.14+ doesn't seem to include it anymore. I'm unsure why that suddenly changed, but hope this helps!
