Request: version bump for numpy>=2 dependency update

Great project thank you! I saw that the fix for numpy>=2 has already been merged here and that the last PyPI release was 14-May-2025. Would it be possible to release a new version soon, or at least a hotfix that includes #874 please?

When installing aviary with a package manager like uv or poetry that creates lock files of all dependencies, the latest published version aviary==0.9.10 specifies numpy<2 which makes it incompatible with the latest versions other tools such as openmdao which require numpy>=2. Releasing a new version of aviary with the updated dependencies from #874 would resolve this.

Hi there - we have been able to test Aviary with numpy up to 2.3 and have pushed that as the latest supported version via hotfix. We are in an awkward place trying to get features in before 1.0 so we haven't done a version update in a while. We can consider a 0.9.11 release that only adds the numpy dependency change in the meantime. Aviary latest has non-backwards compatible changes that we intended for 1.0+ only.
