The current enumerated values for the <maintenanceUpdateFrequency> element in the EML schema has raised confusion for some users viewing this content in the Data Portal.
To improve readability, we could convert these multi-word camel-case values into a more human-friendly format, such as lowercase space-separated strings. For example:
Current: notPlanned
Proposed: not planned
This transformation can be done by modifying the Data Portal XSLT of the Data Package Full Metadata page.
This change would have the additional benefit of aligning with the formatting used by the ezEML application, enhancing user experience and consistency.
