Kokkos HIP bug

Seeing memory access errors on LUMI-G and non-deterministic behaviour in 2 node runs on adv_diff_2d.c. 

Likely a bug in Kokkos code, only appearing in the last week after changes to interfaces. 

Appears only on the lower levels (between 6-10).
