Description

See https://github.com/PHI-base/config/issues/65 and #29

The information in this new AE will be added as free text following this structure 'alteration; target site; EPPO.'

Initial draft text

Using the AE 'alteration in archetype' for curating chemistry fungicide target phenotypes for agricultural fungal pathogens.

Once the primary annotation has been made (eg resistance to [chemical], sensitive to [chemical] or normal growth on [chemical]) an annotation extension can be used to record the standardised alteration in the reference species for the fungicide target site.

Please carefully use free text to capture the following information

alteration; target site; EPPO

alteration The alteration in the archetype target site egs could be an AA substitution (F412I), a deletion (del459-460) or in a promoter/non-coding region. This information can be looked up ...[insert locations*]
target site The name of the target site. This could have the same name as the primary annotation (Erg27) or a paralogous name (Cyp51A) or could be non-target site resistance (NTSR).
EPPO The name of the archetype species. Following Mair et al 2016, species names are recorded using EPPO codes https://www.eppo.int/RESOURCES/eppo_databases/eppo_codes

*We will also need to add some text about how best to look this information up.
