The Ratchet & Clank series has very humerous writing, a lot of the jokes can be used to reference specific locations or items. Some examples are:
- "Novalis: Plumber - Infobot" -> "Plumber's Crack"
- "Rilgar: Pay the bouncer to meet Captain Quark" -> "You grease the hinges, the door opens"
- "Umbris" -> "Quickly conquer Qwarks killer canonade of confounded contraptions"
- "Hoven: Get the raritanium" -> "Aw Heck"
- "PDA" -> "Public Display of Afffection"
