We need a VS Code / Cursor extension

In Pipelex, we use a lot of TOML files. We use them to define all our configs but also, and even more importantly, we use TOML format for all the pipelines.

Currently, we recommend using the extension Even Better TOML which works pretty well for syntax coloring and basic syntax checking the TOML files. But we need more to support the powerful features of the Pipelex language:

Specific coloring

• Separate colors between Concept and Pipe definitions
• Coloring pipe codes and concept codes
• Possibility to jump to a pipe's or concept's definition from cmd-click on its code

Validation & error display

Also, we have static validation and dry run tools in Pipelex, available thru the pipelex validate command, which would benefit from running inside an extension, to show semantic errors in addition to the TOML syntax errors: both as a red underline and a hover popup.
