Feature Request: Add Auth and Other 1-Click Forms for Static Forms Users
Summary
Static Forms users currently need to manually build common functional forms such as authentication flows, password reset, contact forms, etc. This increases friction and setup time, especially for non-technical users or those who want to ship quickly.
This feature request proposes adding pre-built 1-click form templates (including authentication-related forms) that Static Forms users can enable instantly, without custom backend or UI wiring.
Problem Statement
Static Forms users often require standard workflows such as:
- User signup
- User login
- Password reset / forgot password
- Contact / feedback forms
- Newsletter subscription
- Basic lead capture
Today, these forms must be built and configured manually. This results in:
- Repeated boilerplate work across projects
- More chances for implementation errors
- Higher onboarding friction
- Slower time-to-value
Proposed Solution
Add a gallery of 1-click form templates available directly inside the Static Forms user experience.
Examples include:
Authentication Templates
- Signup / Register
- Login
- Forgot Password
- Reset Password
- Email Verification
Utility Templates
- Contact Form
- Support Request
- Feedback Form
- Newsletter Subscription
- Lead Capture
Each template should:
- Auto-generate the HTML form
- Auto-configure the submission endpoint
- Support minimal customization (labels, fields, theme)
- Integrate with Postpipe workflows where applicable
Optional enhancements:
- Captcha / spam protection toggle
- Email confirmation toggle
- Redirect / success page configuration
- Webhook support
- Field validation presets
Target Users
- Static website owners
- Non-technical users
- Teams needing rapid deployment of standard forms
- Developers wanting to avoid boilerplate
Expected Benefits
- Faster onboarding and form creation
- Reduced configuration errors
- Better UX consistency
- Wider adoption of Static Forms
- Clear product differentiation
Acceptance Criteria
- Users can add at least one 1-click auth form template from the UI
- Generated forms work without any backend coding
- Templates support minimal configurable options
- Documentation explains how to enable and customize templates
Additional Context
This request is intended to improve the Static Forms workflow by giving users ready-to-use functional forms out-of-the-box, including authentication-related forms that are currently high-friction to implement manually.
