Check for duplicate machine before beginning to creating the VM

Duplicating the machine name results in a failure after a long process of beginning to setup the virtualbox. Seems like it should be possible to easily check for hame duplication prior to running these steps. 

Also, consider changing from a default fail to an optional overwrite.
