In trying to distribute and share the load of doing the research, I think you should do google scholar research for the Krake paper on:

• HL7 (and annunciators)
• FHIR
• biomedical engineering

I think we should look specifically for these topics and "annunciators", "alarms" etc. The Krake paper is primarily about hardware; we are looking for examples of hardware alarms in the context of HL7, FHIR, etc.
