Description
AppImage is generally expected to be portable across distributions and LTS releases.
However, this AppImage is built against Ubuntu 24.04 and requires glibc ≥ 2.38 and a newer libstdc++, which prevents it from running on Ubuntu 22.04 and other still-supported systems.
Some runtime libraries are also not bundled.
While the filename does mention Ubuntu 24.04, this effectively limits the AppImage to a single distro/version and reduces the practical value of using AppImage as a distribution format.
It would be helpful to either bundle all required dependencies, target an older glibc, or switch to flatpak.
