Description
General: As the kids are setting things up, make sure to remind them that the e-mail address used to setup the Alexa App is exactly the same as the e-mail address used to setup the Amazon Developer account.
On page 5:
- Make the link in Step 6 clickable (comment also applies to all other links in the PDF)
- State that

HandlerandRolemean (in case some curious kids ask :) - Discuss what's in the code for the Lambda that we're pasting. Again, for kids that don't want to blindly copy-paste, but really want to know the code they're using

On page 7:
- Step numbers go from 1), 2), to 11), 12)...
- Clicking on 'Create an Alexa skill now' takes you to https://developer.amazon.com/edw/home.html#/skills. But the correct link that has the page with the two options is https://developer.amazon.com/edw/home.html#/. So recommending that Step 11 be changed to simply say
Add a New Skillbutton and remove the first paragraph in Step 11
On page 9:
- Make the link under Step 13 clickable
- State that the slots section can remain untouched
On page 11:
- State that Permissions section can remain untouched
- State that Publishing Information may be skipped
- Also discuss that publishing is required so that everybody's Alexas may use this skill. But right now, our Alexa is able to use our skill because they're both using the same Amazon account
