How to use ISO on PS2/PS3 (disk-swap) after creation

Thanks for this great tool! it works well for building PS2 ISOs. I've successfully created an ISO that plays perfectly in PCSX2.
My next goal is to use that ISO on actual hardware: I want to use it on PS3 via a disk swap (inside SingStar Ultimate Party).

However, I'm unsure how to properly get the ISO onto a DVD-R such that the PS2 (or the PS3 via swap) recognizes it. I've tried burning the ISO at 4x speed with ImgBurn, but Ultimate Party does not recognize the burned disc.

My questions are:

1. Are there recommended steps / settings to burn the ISO so that PS hardware will accept it?

2. After creating the ISO, what is the proper workflow to get SingStar working on:

   • PS2 real hardware
   • PS3 via disk swap
   • (PS3 natively ?)

3. Is any modification to the console required for these use cases? (I have a PS3 Super Slim)

Hi, glad you're enjoying the tool so far! So i need to clarify a few points regarding PS3 support in the current version (v1.2)

• As of v1.2, the generated PS2 ISOs are not compatible with PS3 Singstar "Disc Swap" feature
• This is because the PS3 game checks for hashes computed from the PS2 files. I purposedly picked a version of SingStar PS2 that includes these hashes directly on the PS2 disc (stored in Pak_W.PAK), so we can generate new hashes and make this feature work in the future
• v1.3 (coming out next week) supports generating new PS2 hashes, but it won't be relevant anymore because v1.3 supports PS3 game building

tl;dr: The next version includes PS3 game building, no song limit, FTP support to transfer directly to PS3, and other cool features so disc-swapping won't be an issue anymore

As for running the current ISOs on PS2 hardware, I can't really give any guidelines because I only have CECHA01 (hardware BC PS3) and CECHC04 (software BC PS3) to test out the PS2 ISOs. Usually, if it works on there, it will work on PS2. Although I'd suggest running them from a hard drive rather than a disc if possible.
