Description
Hi, I like how it is much easier with you software than with Halsu’s shader to pull the key and make the settings, however, I am not able to get this keyer to usably despill my footage. I know, with more space between subject and green screen, I could reduce green screen spill, but with offline keying software and also with Halsu’s keyer, it is possible to remove all green screen spill from my live footage. While Halsu’s keyer does a great job at removing all shades of green, also from pixels that remain completely opaque, which was the reason for me to use it in the first place, I am not able to get any despilling effect on opaque pixels from this keyer. It seems to affect only semi-transparent pixels, if any at all. By the way, even on your example image, you can see shades of green at the edges. Halsu’s algorithm filters out such shades very effectively, just as offline tools do, shifting the hue to the opposite direction. (I also don’t manage to get the clean plate difference keying to work; everything gets semi-transparent as soon as I activate the reference image. But I think, this has already been a problem with Halsu’s keyer.)
