While playing with Oritech, I've noticed that Assembler and Foundry both have rather noticeably high pitched sounds to them. They are somewhat annoying but tolerable.
But the Centrifuge is both high pitched and has unpleasant, probably even misophonia triggering, liquid/squishy sound looping while it works. Same with the Foundry actually, though it's less prominent.
Would be nice to have a pass over them and replacing, or at least somewhat reducing their unpleasantness. Perhaps something more "industrial", lower pitch and rumbling, similar to IE or Create? Or at least something not so sharply high pitched or "liquid".
Describe alternatives you've considered
Muffler mod. It works, it helps a lot, but loses a bit of the vibe.
A resource pack is an option, but would require finding fitting sounds, and won't be as easy for people to find as opposed to the mod being modified
Additional context
High pitched noises can feel almost painful if they keep repeating constantly. I've personally noticed that a lot with bad UI click/etc sounds. When they repeat over and over for hours at end, it results in an odd fatigue towards any kind of sound in general.
As for squishy/liquid sounds, those can commonly trigger misophonia, a rather common auditory processing disorder (especially among neurodivergent people, which a lot of modded minecraft players are highly likely to be :P), where some kinds of sound cause a strong reaction that's hard to ignore, mostly feeling disturbed and uncomfortable. Probably one of the most common examples is "Chewing with mouth open".
