Yes technically, Python2 is no longer supported. It would be nice to have modern syntax and libraries available to us.

I'd like to be able to write Macros in Python3 syntax and import Python3 modules as-is.

None.

Python 2 was officially sunset Jan 1st 2020

I'm guessing it is a matter of updating Iron Python, https://github.com/IronLanguages/ironpython3/blob/main/docs/upgrading-from-ipy2.md ?
