Description
Description of the issue
When clicking the left mouse button on an empty area (outside any icon or folder), the behavior is inconsistent. Sometimes the click is handled correctly, and sometimes it is not.
This issue occurs both in fullscreen mode and when the application is running in a window. When clicking on the window border or outside an open folder, the folder does not always close. However, clicking outside the application window (if it is working as a window) works as expected.
Steps to reproduce this issue
1 - Open the application
2 - Open any folder
3 - Click with the left mouse button on an empty area (outside any icon or folder), or on the window border while the app is running in windowed mode
4 - Observe that the folder does not always close
Additional info: Please check the attached image and try clicking around the points marked with arrows to reproduce the issue more precisely.
Expected behavior
Clicking on an empty area or outside an open folder should consistently close the folder (or close the app if no folder is open), both in fullscreen and windowed modes.
PS: I tested the behavior in MacOS 26.2 both with and without BetterMouse running, and the issue still occurs, so it does not appear to be related to click-through or input interference from BetterMouse.
