Introduction to version control using git

We will be refreshing our `git` skills, starting from the [Carpentries git lesson](http://swcarpentry.github.io/git-novice/) with a focus on creating repositories, committing and working with Github.

As a prerequisite, please ensure you have the [right software](https://swcarpentry.github.io/workshop-template/#git) and have an account on [github.com](https://github.com/).
