LogISI Burst Detection Method

Hi Tim,

I was trying to run alternative burst detection methods (other than the default Bakkum), particularly the logISI method, but seemed to run into an error stating 'downVec' as an unrecognized function/variable in burstDetect line 94. I was wondering if these alternative methods in the dropdown (LogISI/Manuel/nno) are fully functional yet? Please let me know if I can provide any additional details on this.

Hi!

Thanks again for using MEA-NAP and looking into the burst detection. For now I will recommend you try out the new "Threshold" burst detection method in the latest version of MEA-NAP (v1.11.0), you will also see a new plot called 8_BurstDetectionInfo in folder 2A , which should help with seeing whether the burst detection worked as intended. Meanwhile we are aware that the current code of the Bakkum method doesn't work well with recordings with high firing rates, and will work on a fix.

So try out the new Threshold method and let me know how it goes!
