Very slow speed

When I go to do like //replacenear 100 lava air it starts fast but then slows to like 0.01 bpm and I am not sure why any help will be awesome as i love this plugin and have been using it on all of my servers. Thanks

Update. I found the problem, it was an outdated version of worldedit so this issue for me can be considered solved and closed.
