What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. random delay in sending data and some bytes of data is lost

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
At present there is loss in bytes of data sent. There is random delay in
sending the data through serial port.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Beagle bone black and Jelly bean OS
Please provide any additional information below.
