Inventory List View: Can't sort by Tax fields in Property tab and vice versa #5120

It seems that it is not possible to sort by Tax lot fields in the Property tab, or Property fields in the Tax lot tab.
Is there a reason for this restriction?
It seem like useful and necessary functionality to have.
I thought there might already by an issue for this but I couldn't find it. If there is, it would be good to reference it from this issue and then close one of the issue, either this one or the other one.
