Reading from imzml files

Hi, I am working on DESI MS imaging. My data is in imzml format. Unfortunately, pyimzml is not able to read this due to large file size. The function proposed here would be very useful to grab the image at particular m/z instead of loading 4 GB file to get the image (a behavior in pyimzml).

Hi Siva, I just had a meeting regarding this issue. I work with Trevor at STTARR. I'm presently looking into supporting imzML files and will update you regarding this at the beginning of next week.
