Option to mute sound only for the notifications

I use the middle click to mute notfications all the time but the problem is i still hear the alert sound , it would be nice to have an option to mute it but only for notifications

Sorry for the delay. Could you please let me know the version of GNOME Shell you're using?. Since, notification sounds are muted in Do not Disturb mode by default in version 3.38 and 40.
