I gave a shot with yaap on my moto G8 family phone (g pro/stylus), and this GSI is so darn good pampered , compared to other GSIs, that I'd like to stick to it.
But during my usual path with importing all data from backuped files I've run into a problem. Basically I need to get root privileges through ADB.
This rom throws a statement that adbd cannot run as root in production builds although ro.debuggable is set to 1, and ro.system.build.type is userdebug in /system/build.prop
I can import all needed db files and other app specific files by copying them to f.e. /sdcard/ and then moving to proper directories, but this is a real pain and complicates things.
Is there any way to get an "adb root" working to simplify the workflow?
