Opening terminal to Python package environment does not work from command palette

Using command Sema4.ai: Open terminal with Package Python environment does not work. The environment is not opened and no error is produced.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open existing project
2. Run command.
3. The environment is not open.

The environment is opened by the command palette command if the extension is activated on the sidebar!

OS: Win11
