Authentication #9
Description
Authentication is currently handled by supplying user:password at the end of the URL.
Is it possible to switch to Basic Auth authentication?
This will cause a pop-up window to appear to ask for a user/password.
It will also help make it more compatible with reverse proxies.
In addition, if it is possible to make the authentication dynamic (perhaps disable when IP source is 127.0.0.1/localhost). Then authentication can be applied on the reverse proxy only.
