sideNav Not collapsing after item selection

There seems to be an issue with the sideNav not collapsing after you select a menu item, it works is ng but not ng2.

I've created a very simple app containing a sidenav using three menu items and two subitems, and display a message with selected item ( onMenuItemSelected() ...). Tested on both Windows and MacOS platform and it's collapsing ok (with item selected). Can you, please, provide a small sample where this issue is reproducing?

Hi,
I can not make sideNav to open the item that has subitems just clicking on the menu item. The only way it opens is clicking on the arrow icon to the right of the menu item.
But the Servoy sample solution works just clicking on the menu item to open the subitems.
What am I missing?
