Games without SteamGridDB images not handeled well

Describe the bug
Videos are not tagged to new games and the game categories are not created if game has no steamgriddb images. If creating from the video view an error pops up: Failed to download game assets: No hero images available for this game. If on the homepage and selecting yes to the autodetect thing, nothing happens. In either case, the video remains unassigned a game. I tried this with VIVIDLOPE.

Expected behavior
It would be nice if Fireshare could fall back to the Steam Store assets if the hero or logo weren't found, or at least put in a placeholder image so that the video gets to be tagged to the game.

Hmm, good points here. I do know that SteamGridDB does know how to fetch the store page assets, but it doesn't seem like theres any way in their API for us to fetch it, bummer.

The other possible solution I could see is letting users upload and use their own assets? Though that will require planning out a LOT more including menus, backend, etc. So it would have to be a super distant goal. :( Any other ideas though I'd be happy to hear them out, you're right this is a concern for sure.

Will probably need to add a default placeholder image for the different assets (banner, logo, etc) that sits in a "defaults" folder or something maybe next to the templates folder. So if there is no game metadata, default to server the temporary files from the "defaults" folder.

At the very least, the ui would then load using the default images. I think something like this would be a good start until we have a system for allowing user uploaded artwork.
