(docs) Error in Hydrogen migration docs

Was taking a look at the docs here and the liquid syntax seems to be incorrect.

Here's how I got it to work in my theme's code:

  {{% if request.page_type = 'product' %}}
    <link rel="canonical" href="https://example.com/p/{{ product.handle }}" />
  {{% elsif %}}
    <link rel="canonical" href="https://example.com/{{ request.path }}" />
  {{% endif %}}

If I'm not mistaken, this should trigger you a theme-check error :
Unexpected character % theme-check

Just removing the double brackets for simple ones should fix it.
