This request is based on detailed feedback from Steam Workshop users regarding improvements to the current color/skin replacement workflow.
Requested functionality:

Apply replacements without requiring a block placed on the grid
Users find the block-placement requirement rigid and less convenient than single-screen solutions.

Separate control for color and skin randomization/replacement
Ability to randomize/apply only skins without affecting colors, and vice-versa.

Example: change all conveyors to orange with a specified skin while windows receive a different skin.

Example scenario:
