So close to get it working on Bazzite...

ChatGPT brought me to this stage... but I am stuck now... Can anyone give a hint?

I am on an uptodate Bazzite with a ACC(Steam) running, trying to get DIY Pedal-FFB through Audio-Output to run.

simd is now doing the right low-level things:
it detects ACC (simulator id 805550)
it finds the physics and static shared-memory files
siminit error 0 repeats, which suggests initialization succeeds
ACC is officially listed as Platinum support in simapi, and Monocoque’s how-to says AC / ACC need no additional in-game settings.

But the key missing piece is still this:
view_telemetry shows Status: 0, SimOn: 0

cd ~/.local/src/monocoque/src/monocoque/simulatorapi/simapi/build ./view_telemetry
Opening SIMAPI.DAT shared memory...
Connected to telemetry data. Press Ctrl+C to exit.
Waiting for DiRT Rally 2.0 to start sending data...

despite me driving on track in ACC

Thx in advance... I am a complete Linux newb and I am forced by stupid Microsoft to come here. But up to this point everything worked out great I am looking forward to be free of the old Moloch Windows! 👍

did you download the simshmbridge compatibility exe from here. You can try the precompiled exe on the releases page.

then create a ~/.config/simd/simd.config like this one

And setup your launch command for acc in steam like it says to do here

i think that's what you need...

you'll know you have the mapping over to linux when you run hexdump /dev/shm/acpmf_physics and you get non-zero.
