Does not work with Spatialite tables

Is it supposed to work on shapefiles only?
I tried it with a spatialite table and it took a lot of time opening the table to update it.
Temporary -journal files kept appearing and disappearing for minutes instead of seconds. Maybe there was even a timeout because at the end of the process nothing was written inside the fields.
By comparison the shapefile took seconds to update even if with unexpected results (see other issue).

I will have to check that. I believe It works for both shapefiles and Postgis. Never test it with spatialite layers.
