Update to more recent platform

Hi Steve,

I'm not sure if you care about this anymore but I just updated it to run on Ubuntu 20.04 with the current version of ffmpeg. I still have some work I want to do but if you're interested I can give it back in a PR. Just let me know.

That's great, Jim. As you can see it has fallen somewhat by the wayside but nice to see someone is interested :)
