  • The goal of 0.9 is fit and finish. Updating and fleshing out tutorials. Making sure documentation is of a very high-standard (adding diagrams and illustrations for example). Release 0.9 is essentially the first 1.0 release candidate, with any 0.9.x releases fixes issues found.

  • The goal of release 0.8 is finishing of any code for stlrc. This will include replacing the currently command line framework with a new simpler one that has been under preparation. This should not change the _interface_ of stlrc at all in terms of command line parameters etc, but should ensure that feedback to the user is better and more stable, and ready for long term enhancement and maintenance

  • The goal for 0.7 is improved unit test coverage (and therefore overall stability). It is intended to shake out the last remaining changes the need to be made to the framework APIs or STLR ahead of version 1.0 (certainly anything that would create further deprecations). Anything deprecated in 0.6 will be removed in 0.7. In short the goal as 0.7 is released is stability.
