Correct URL for CMIS Options

I've been working on this for a few days on and off and I'm having some trouble getting this to display correctly with Alfresco 5 and I'm pretty sure it's just that I don't understand what the options should be set to.

Under the options area for CMIS Repository URL I have the following set:

http://my.doman.com/alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.1/atom

I have the following options to use

CMIS 1.0 AtomPub Service Document
http://my.doman.com/alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.0/atom
CMIS 1.0 Web Services WSDL Document
http://my.doman.com/alfresco/cmisws/cmis?wsdl
CMIS 1.1 AtomPub Service Document
http://my.doman.com/alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.1/atom
CMIS 1.1 Browser Binding URL
http://my.doman.com/alfresco/api/-default-/public/cmis/versions/1.1/browser

I'm I using the right URL? If not, are any of the others I listed the correct one?

If it is correct, then maybe my page URL is not right?

I'm using [cmis tree="/documents/"] but I'm not sure that that's correct, for the user does it expect it from the root of the site that the user has access to or a different path?

Any help would be appreciated.

Update: This is partially resolved by executing the fix cited at: #1

Once applied, I tried the CMIS 1.1 AtomPub Service Document

Secondarily, the folder is top level for the entire site which means if you want to show "sub" folders, you have to narrow it starting there.

For instance, the folder tree is as follows:

Top Level
/

• Data Dictionary
• Guest Home
• User Homes
• Shared
• Imap Attachments
• IMAP Home
• Sites

So, if you wan to display folders in a site that your specified user has access to then you should do something like this...

[cmis folder="/Sites/mysitename/mysitefolder/"]

This does seem to display the folders desired.

Now, I can see the files, but whenever I click on one to download, it downloads the website 'source' instead of the file contents.

Any idea why that might be happening?

Awesome thanks for posting the fix!
What file type are you loading? Make sure the mime type is there in basic-mis.php also check stream.php right now Content-Disposition is set to attachment. Not sure if that helps or not.

Attachment is great, that's what I'd like is for visitors to download the content instead of having it display directly in the browser.

Right now, just a simple .txt file named sample.txt that contains the text "sample text".

What might help diagnose is when I go to the file to download I'm given something like the following URL:

I do not yet have the documents working but I thought I should also say that I am thinking I may continue to run into problems. I am using two separate systems, a wordpress site and a bitnami provided alfresco instance. I am not sure that I want to have the API information open to the internet, this seems like very bad security.

Maybe it is possible to use the API only on the local LAN? Like on 10.0.0.0 or 192.168.0.0 network?

Any ideas on how this might be done as well?
