Type narrowing when using skipToken

When using skipToken to skip a query execution, it will somehow add the type typeof skipToken to the data.

From TS's perspective, it's a valid behaviour, but when using it, I have to add another typeof data !== 'symbol' to perform type narrowing, which is weird.

What's the correct way to work around this? and how come no one is frustrated with this, as I found no topic discussing this at all😂

you need to pass the skipToken to the queryFn, not return a skipToken from the queryFn. This will also not stop execution at runtime.

queryFn: Math.random() > 0.5 ? () => ({ foo: 'bar' }) : skipToken,
