Exec format error

Greetings,

I tried an example with the portable mode and got the following error on Linux system:

zsh: exec format error: ./dist/simple.com

Looking further at the compiled file with file ./dist/simple.com I get:

./dist/simple.com: DOS/MBR boot sector; partition 1 : ID=0x7f, active, start-CHS (0x0,0,1), end-CHS (0x3ff,255,63), startsector 0, 4294967295 sector

It seems that it was compiled for Windows not Linux.

This might be related to zsh. Can you try running it with bash to see if it works? Relevant upstream issue:
