Describe the bug

When trying to generate the ruleset for OpenRCX following the documentation I observed some issues.

ext_patterns.tcl defines golden_spef although it's already defined within user_env.tcl:

source ../script/user_env.tcl
set golden_spef ../../test/generate_pattern.spefok

Inside generate_rules.tcl the call to write_rules (probably) doesn't include all necessary arguments:

# Convert the parasitics into
write_rules -file $extRules

From what I gathered from OpenRCX.tcl write_rules can be supplied with file, dir, name and db. The issue here is also that the backend implementation only takes in file and name:

void Ext::write_rules(const std::string& name, const std::string& file)
{
_ext->setBlockFromChip();
_ext->writeRules(name.c_str(), file.c_str());
}

So the name parameter should also be provided.

OpenRCX.tcl also calls this function with the wrong arguments provided:

rcx::write_rules $filename $dir $name

dir must be omitted in this case to call write_rules.

Expected Behavior

Generate a complete ruleset for OpenRCX when following the information from the documentation.

To Reproduce

Should be reproducible using provided open source technologies following documentation to generate OpenRCX ruleset

Relevant log output

When trying the un-modified OpenRCX.tcl integration write_rules will exit with this:

...
Error: generate_rules.tcl, 27 Wrong # args.:rcx::write_rules file name  argument 3
...

Screenshots

No response

Additional Context

I'm currently working on a quick fix myself and running the regression tests currently.

Also, I was wondering if the parameters for write_rules (besides file and name) are used in any context?
When tracking down the function it seems only the name gets used.
