Consolidate Power Supplies #1
Description
To enable dissemination of the system and improve the ease at which people can build it, we should consider replacing the power supply for the resonant galvo.
ASI has Tiger low-noise power supply modules that they use for traditional galvos. Currently they offer +/- 15V with either 3A or 6A outputs. They think they can do +/- 12V or just 12V pretty easily by changing a single component but need to double-check.
It is worth noting that our resonant galvos are increasingly difficult to get, and a future build may need to have a standard galvo. At which point, the power supply options would change.
