Can't connect to any server

Neither I nor my brother can connect to my server thru public ip. Upnp is enabled and the server shows in the router and on the server list, but when I hit connect there is a chat message that says "Failed to confirm connection, check if bridge is running." I have also allowed both the bridge and the server through the firewall.

My brother and I can play with my private ip, and neither him nor I can connect to any public server, with that same error.

i know it's outdated but have you tried a direct connect?
