Version 5.3.0 "Unhandled Error: Value cannot be null."

This annoying problem has been happening on version 5.1 as well. I thought finally updating to the latest version would fix it, but no it didn't.

So here's what keeps happening:
-Connect Rock Band 4 Strat with wireless Xbox One receiver
-Launch RB4InstrumentMapper
-Once InstrumentMapper is not in focus, it spits out and spams the following error when trying to close InstrumentMapper:

Clicking "Yes" doesn't even open a log file. I am just hit again with another stacked Unhandled Error window.

This has never happened before until recently. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong here. My drivers are up to date and I made sure the xbox drivers are correct and the USB stuff is in the right drivers. Any assistance is appreciated!

I also got this issue but solved it using a fix from a few months ago.

I fixed it by going to windows settings -> Add or remove programs -> then typing "Microsoft Game Input" into the search bar then uninstalling it.

Note: Windows will reinstall it every time you turn off your computer so you need to delete it again.

If you are not on windows I don't have an answer for you and I'm sorry.
